I know this is second nature to a lot of us neurospicy folks, but it's an observable trend that younger generations are becoming less curious and less interested in learning and that's by design. AI is speedrunning this at a concerning pace. Literally anything to offset that is going to help.

Put aside a little time to learn something. Pick something that's actually important to you, big or small, and genuinely educate yourself about it. Try to spread that passion and knowledge to others. The more you learn about one thing, the more you learn about everything it's interconnected with.

Unfortunately, we live in a society (could simply stop there tbh) where people at the top are desperate to keep you uneducated and you need to put the effort in to challenge that because the alternative benefits those ghouls. So many people are so misinformed or uninformed and it's dire.

It doesn't matter what your personal opinions are about certain types of content and whether you want to see it or not, censorship is never the answer. Lawmakers and payment processors do not care about regulations to keep anyone safe, or the regulations would look very, very different.

They go off after porn first because they know that no one will stand up for sex workers. And then once they convince all the "respectable" people it's a good thing to ban all the "gross" things, they start defining everything as pornography. This is how we said it would happen.

Was reading the gofundme and this snippet from their advertising manager makes me so goddamn pissed for FA. "Plus sized" counts as adult content to those people? So somehow fat people are both uwu soft babies that are completely sexless, but also the mere sight of them is porn, jesus.

What makes this situation frustrating is that the bar for what advertisers consider "adult content" is very very low. For example they consider plus size characters, two characters hugging, and "barbie doll nudity" to be adult content, despite these being normal everyday things that are not adult at all. This is why you may see other sites with restrictions on how characters can't be posed or dressed “too provocatively.”
