Day 3: Char Man A new type of military robot that can command and interface with various Sniper Joe units. His Red Comet ability, overclocks an interfaced Joe, giving them 3X the capabilities and turns them hot red. He is known to be fiercely loyal to his unit and does not betray anyone.

In 2023, concept art was revealed by Super Mario RPG artist Jiro Mifune where the party was inspired by The Three Musketeers, and included Wario. The posts were soon deleted, but I have restored the images to the best of my ability.

In November 2023, Super Mario RPG artist Jiro Mifune shared early concepts where the party was themed after The Three Musketeers. The posts were soon deleted, but were preserved by Super Mario RPG expert pidgezero_one. The photos are taken at oblique angles and have very low contrast. I have enhanced them to the best of my ability. Translations of the original text accompanying the concept art are provided.

The Captain of the Royal Guard of the Mushroom Kingdom. A swordsman with a long and distinguished career.
LUIGI
Deputy Commander of the Royal Guard of the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario's younger brother.
QUEEN PEACH
Queen of the Mushroom Kingdom. This time, she is imprisoned in the Slug Kingdom.
KINOPI
the name is just Kinopio (Japanese for Toad)
A rookie soldier in the Royal Guard of the Mushroom Kingdom. The older brother of the kidnapped Toads.
WARIO
A soldier in the Royal Guard. He was once a leader of a band of thieves, but had a change of heart.
KING KOOPA
King of the Turtle Kingdom and their No. 1 knight. Captured by the Slug Kingdom, but joins Mario later.
