Watching someone cook who doesn't really cook much is often amusing. Like why are you actually measuring out specifically six cups of water to boil your boxed mac & cheese in. And using an actual measuring spoon for the margarine. Just put a glob in that looks approximately tablespoon sized.

my anger about this "study" as someone with real chronic pain knows no bounds. The program reacted to perceived threats to its own existence, because it was trained on how we humans behave. Threat is not the same as pain. Ffs. And people with chronic pain can't even be believed at the doctor's.

Tip for working in an office that is quiet enough that tiny noises (typing, clicking, chair squeaks, gum chewing) get super irritating: Little bundles of ripped tissue in your ears. Can still hear people talking to you but the irritating sounds get muted. (just tried this today)

I like getting into bed when the bed is nicely made. My partner wakes up after me and takes multiple naps a day, so there is no point in making the bed during the day (plus he somehow twists the blankets when sleeping??) So I'm a weirdo who makes the bed immediately before I go to bed at night.
