Very excited to share this snippet for @shuakeshuwritezine.bsky.social :3 Did you know that the Japanese name for the Thieves' Den is "My Palace" (マイパラス)? What an absolute gift to everyone who enjoys making Joker have a terrible time inside his own head

Ren cracks and asks, "Do you regret it?"

With a measured smile, Akechi cocks his head. "Regret what, exactly?"

The partial replica of the Good Morning Japan set had occupied this platform until mere minutes ago; maybe its shiny plastic vibes are still contaminating the space. Scowling, Ren shapes his hand into a gun and mimes firing it into his forehead.

Akechi chuckles politely. "You realize, of course, that as a product of your cognition, whatever answer I give you will be what you want to hear."

"What if I don't know what I want to hear?"'

"You know exactly what you want. You just won't allow yourself to admit it."

Ren curls his hands halfway into fists. "That's not what I want to hear from you. Funny how you can say it, anyway."

"If you want different words in my mouth, you'll have to put them there?" With a yawn, Akechi crosses his legs the opposite way. "You know, if you hadn't rushed through Shido's Palace as soon as your wounds closed, I might have lived a few weeks longer. Isn't that interesting to consider?"

It feels kinda surreal lol, it’s been a long time coming since I worked on it in April so I can kinda see all the issues with it now but I’m happy to be included nonetheless （╹◡╹）

i totally forgot to mention it but i was inspired by lady oscar's design! not to mention how both of them are directly tied to justice from what i read about her, i feel like it all lines up nicely

the previous post's artwork was born because i wanted to redraw akechi's aoa pose and soon realized that i wanted to change the design too. and this was supposed to be a 30min sketch

digital colored sketch or female version of akechi goro in crow's all-out-attack pose. she is in her prince outfit with a few modifications: she now has a dark red sash around her waist, an aiguillette tied to her right epaulette and a star-shaped gem near her neck.
