Unclear what SK's reasons are for not crediting and disagreeing w Gebru or Torres's analysis [TESCREAL] but surmising from virulent anti black racism above~could it be "eugenics"/"racial inequity"/neo confed racial capitalism? 🤔 ~Tho Shanley is allegedly anti-capitalist/* "groyper-anti globalist"
Analysis

According to critics of these philosophies, TESCREAL describes overlapping movements endorsed by prominent people in the tech industry to provide intellectual backing to pursue and prioritize projects including artificial general intelligence (AGI), life extension, and space colonization. (1146) Science fiction author Charles Stross, using the example of space colonization, argued that the ideologies allow billionaires to pursue massive personal projects driven by a right-wing interpretation of science fiction by arguing that not to pursue
such projects poses an existential risk to society.?! Gebru and Torres write that, using the threat of extinction, TESCREALists can justify
"attempts to build unscoped systems which are inherently unsafe" !11 Media scholar Ethan Zuckerman argues that by only considering goals that are valuable to the TESCREAL movement, futuristic projects with more immediate drawbacks, such as racial inequity. algorithmic bias, and environmental degradation, can be justified.TESCREAL is a neologism proposed by computer scientist Timnit Gebru and philosopher Émile P. Torres. An acronym, it stands for Transhumanism, Extropianism, Singularitarianism, (modern) Cosmism, Rationalism (denoting the ideology of the rationalist community, Effective Altruism, and Longtermism."!I?! Gebru and Torres argue that these ideologies should be treated as an "interconnected and overlapping" group with shared origins."! They claim these constitute a movement that allows its proponents to use the threat of human extinction to justify expensive or detrimental projects and consider it pervasive in social and academic circles in Silicon Valley centered on artificial intelligence. 3! As such, the acronym is sometimes used to criticize a perceived belief system associated with Big Tech.

Origin
Gebru and Torres proposed the term "TESCREAL" in 2023, first using it in a draft of a paper titled "The TESCREAL bundle: Eugenics and the promise of utopia through artificial general intelligence"!1|41 First Monday published the paper in April 2024, though Torres and Gebru popularized the term elsewhere 3! before the paper's publication. According to Gebru and Torres, transhumanism, extropianism, singularitarianism, (modern) cosmism, rationalism, effective altruism, and longtermism are a "bundle" of "interconnected and overlapping ideologies" that emerged from 20th-century eugenics, with shared progenitors."! They use the term "TESCREAList" to refer to people who in their judgment subscribe to, or appear to endorse, any or all of the ideologies captured in the acronym.!!The "TESCREAL" authors do have names, after all. You would want to specifically credit them, right?

nope, I don't subscribe to their arguments and don't agree with their analysis.

funny when some claim to be "anti-capitalist"~against tech fascism/VCs while advocating for Gaza, Ilhan,Global South and yet loathe Black Ams(diaspora), hold closet segregationist eugenic views on racial hierarchies, embrace neo-confed racial capitalism/fascism (w/ "anti-globalists" like David Duke)

There is a direct line from “Race Mixing is Communism” in the 1950s and 60s to “The real enemy is liberal democracy” in the early 1990s to today’s Trumpist assault on the civil rights order and democratic self-government.

Infamously, segregationists routinely derided the civil rights movement of the 1950s and 60s as communist. They protested the integration of public schools holding signs that read “Race Mixing is Communism.” Martin Luther King? A communist, of course.

Demonizing Democracy
The Right has long derided any attempt at leveling racial and social hierarchies as anti-American “socialism” or “communism.” What they are actually fighting is equality.

This also helps explain why the protagonists of the American far right and leading movement conservatives did not think the downfall of the Soviet empire in the early 1990s was a reason to relax or moderate. Quite the opposite!

Anti-“communism” was indeed the glue that held the Modern Conservative movement together. But crucially, when defining “communism,” the leaders of mid-century Modern Conservatism made very little distinction between Marxism, socialism, communism, liberalism.

In the 1950s and 60s, equating the struggle for multiracial democracy with “communism” was common not just among redneck protesters or white supremacist militias, but also within the halls of conservative thought leadership – at the National Review, for instance.

This particular political attack stood in a long tradition of demonizing racial equality and any form of social progress. Prominent pro-slavery theorists of the Antebellum South, for instance, often claimed that the real goal of abolitionists was to institute socialism.

More wild ~Shanley is attempting to discredit a Black tech scholar/Timnit Gebru's work on eugenic Al/ TESCREAL-while using dated groyper memes (from her "former" yrs to target Gil). But makes sense when u read this +realize SK hasn't changed. Greenhall was rt + her blog corroborated Weev's interview
"When he was unable to do so, I said to him: 'This is a bar. You're a n--r filling a diversity quota. Don't front, just get wasted. I was removed from the bar by security shortly afterwards. Shanley came out running after me. She had found my remarks hilarious."

Auernheimer became something of an avuncular figure to Kane, according to his account of their relationship. "At this point, I had a bit of a reputation in the tech world," he explains. "I was indicted thanks to AT&T. She worked directly with AT&T's CTO. At this point I knew what the score was: sometimes a girl really wants to f-k a guy that would really piss off her dad or her boss. She'd later say of our relationship: 'Sometimes a girl just wants to be defiled. We spent the next days in her hotel room eating food on her company's dime.

"Shanley had worked her ass off for years and had nothing to show for it, and seeing my irreverence at an event full of O'Reilly douchebags deprogrammed her to a certain degree.
For the next few months we ended up dating. Her vitriolic nature made me proud," he says. "My heart swelled when she used racial epithets to insult someone engaged in a miscegenatory relationship. She was full of hatred and racially aware." This is the first in a series of explosive racial allegations Auernheimer makes in the course of his story: that Shanley Kane would use racially-charged language, as recently as 2012, to insult people in mixed-race relationships.
