Think about all the evil assholes in this administration. They *all* expect to die of old age, obscenely wealthy, surrounded by family, because that is how the US has allowed *every single previous evil asshole* to live after doing their atrocities. They learned they will never be punished.

Stephen Miller fully expects to live as long as Kissinger, and there's literally no evidence he is wrong. When was the last time the US *didn't* reward the architects of genocide with a lifetime of comfort, wealth, freedom, and continued influence on policy?

The very key important problem with Democrats punishing Hegseth with war crimes is that they spent 2 years gleefully and enthusiastically engaging in genocide in Gaza.

They've already proven how little fucks they give about civilian life, Hillary literally just complained about people seeing evidence of genocide. They sent Bill Clinton to Michigan to insult people whose families were being tortured and murdered.

The Democrats very much do *not* want to make a precedent of punishing people for war crimes, because they've proven they don't oppose them on principle. Schumer and Jeffries literally backed a trump-endorsed fucking rapist over the actual Democrat mostly because of his support for genocide.

Think about how much easier it would be to prosecute Hegseth for war crimes if Kissinger or Cheney and Rumsfield had been. Can you even imagine how different the last few decades would be if Kissinger had faced literally any form of justice for his crimes.

Dems were in power 12 of the last 20 years and instead of prosecuting war criminals, happily did war crimes of their own. It would be easier to prosecute Biden for his war crimes if GW had been 20 years earlier.

Bummer for the breast cancer awareness folks that they called me using a voice that confirmed it was AI, then referred to itself as Mary Smith, and then said it was calling me "personally" to ask for my support. This is anti-human garbage and we must stop it.

Let me trv this once more. It was a choice EITHER the Greens adopted a slogan. OR thev could have ioined the next qovt, where they could push for an end to arms sales, sanctions, support for the arrest warrants etc. It was never going to be both. Which one makes a material difference? #GazaGenocide

Elon *literally* has a hitler dial. That dial simply adds, to Grok's prompt, text sucked from nazi forums. Probably literally every single stormfront post, all of 4chan, etc. Grok then outputs text statistically similar to that nazi garbage input.

These people gleefully engage in nazi propaganda without being able to perceive it as such. They don't notice that they are thinking like nazis. They get upset and argue when you point out that they are in fact behaving like nazis.

It's fascinating to me to see someone use the nazi propaganda machine to generate nazi propaganda, and then spam it at nazis thinking they are disagreeing with the nazis. Everyone else can easily see that they both agree that some people aren't human, but they *can't* perceive this.

Every time you see someone share a Grok screenshot and joke about it having motives and a personality, you're seeing someone who is no longer able to notice that they are sharing nazi propaganda. They can't perceive that their perception has been radically and maybe irreversibly changed.

this is horrifying. Sources (could be you or me!) make decisions about whether or not to speak to a journalist based on, in part, do I trust this particular journalist? Do I want to be part of their story? Funneling all interviews into one big source slush fund is absolutely horrifying

For all that it's been barely reported in the UK press, it's still hard to understate the importance of the stance @labourunionsuk.bsky.social has taken on trans and non-binary rights this week. Every single trade union affiliated to the party of government has stood up and said we will not comply.
Joint statement from National TULO

Solidarity with the trans and non-binary community

Labour's 11 affiliated trade unions stand in total solidarity with the trans and non-binary community.

Trans rights are human rights, and trans rights are workers' rights.

We in the trade union movement will do all we can to stand up for our trans members and all our trans siblings, to protect them from persecution, harassment and attack.

The government must act now to protect all trans people, to make sure their rights are protected, expanded and upheld in our workplaces and communities.
