I always expect this when posting to Reddit as well but they've been super friendly and supportive actually. Posted on /r/Godot and /r/indiegaming. Although on one post someone did start an argument that I should use AI to compare the reference with paintings, but I simply ignored that thread.

It was surprisingly easy to get players into thinking my game had a goal. I just told them to paint the reference and they did it! Fools, nothing would have stopped them from painting whatever they wanted.😈

At least 2 of the refunds I've had so far cited "too short". I do try to make it clear on the Steam page that it's short, both in tags and description. It's also a game where the length depends on how long you spend painting, hard to accommodate for that.

I started studying Computer Science last year to be able to work as a non gamedev programmer but questioning that decision now with all the AI. Dream job would probably to be an artist in the physical realm making exhibitions, crafts, fiber art or be an actor or musician.

Frustrating seeing a community for an old game being poisoned by AI-slop. A game that should have been dead if it wasn't for human volunteers that updated and cared for the game. It has now been overrun by members using AI, who previously wouldn't bother helping out. My time there is done.
