Because of the National driver register, since their licenses are suspended, trans folks cannot move to another state and get a new license until they remove the suspension on their existing Kansas license. They can't even escape this by moving to another state.

And any trans person arrested under this will be placed in units of their sex assigned at birth. For trans women, this means v coding, rape, and sexual assault. They'll also be denied access to hormones and forced to detransition. I can't begin to tell you just how cruel all this is.

Nebraska state law usually mandates informing law enforcement that one is in possession of a concealed firearm. These people followed the law and were abused for it, probably because the cops are ignorant bigots and don't even know the law themselves.

Nebraska Revised Statute 28-1202.04:
(2) Except as provided in subsection (5) of this section, whenever a person who is carrying a concealed handgun is contacted by a peace officer or by emergency services personnel, the person shall immediately inform the peace officer or emergency services personnel that the person is carrying a concealed handgun.

(5) A person is not required to comply with subsections (2) and (3) of this section if:

(a) Such person is storing or transporting a handgun in a motor vehicle for any lawful purpose or transporting a handgun directly to or from a motor vehicle to or from any place where such handgun may be lawfully possessed or carried by such person; and

(b) Such handgun is unloaded, kept separate from ammunition, and enclosed in a case.

Thank you for your post. Please understand that transgender is not a verb or noun. The term is only ever trans or transgender, as an adjective. I began transitioning, but I was never 'transgendered'. I agree that they won't tell us when they discover he's right- wing. They probably already know.
