I had the whole beach to myself today and the water was not too cold for a short swim.
Blue sky with white whispy clouds and a green tree top. Late summer day at the beach with boats further out on the water.

It’s a bit of an open secret that a group of us is working on forming an Atmosphere Community Co-op (which we’ll share more about publicly soon!) @roguewave.design created an open collection on @semble.so called Co-operatives. Please do share resources there.

CR doesn't recommend e-scooters because of their high speeds and rising injury rates. Two of CR's testers sustained injuries while evaluating e-scooters, too.

Roundabout, our local community app, is going to power chicago.org, allowing millions of Chicagoans to connect and share with each other. Here’s more about what we’re up to, including what sets this apart from messy, noisy, profit-driven social media apps: newpublic.org/chicago

Yum! I am no longer driving to the valley for doing my own picking or buying flats of strawberries. Instead, I buy them on my way home at the ferry terminal fruit stand. A great local snack at a reasonable price for our much reduced household. Cherries and other berries are there as well.
