Always humbling to bear witness to elders and survivors share their lived experiences and their journeys. I am in awe of their courage in the telling and the healing they share. We have much to learn and we have a long journey ourselves as we acknowledge their truths.

Walking around in the bush with my head down again this morning. I’m absolutely in love with the gills on this mushroom. I think it might be a type of oysterling. 🍄🌿
Looking at the underside of a frilly oyster mushroom. The different lobes overlap, each other kind of like a nudibranch, it’s tan gills form, beautiful, ripping patterns.

This is my new account, would love a follow here!! Join us Thursdays at #humansofBluesky. Urban scale meets color punch. A lone walker in vibrant magenta crosses North Wabash Ave, dwarfed by Chicago's towering skyscrapers. #luiscordobapharchive #street #Chicago #EWackerDrive #NWabashAv
Vertical orientation street photograph titled "The Wayfarer, Making His Own Path — North Wabash Avenue, Chicago." Low-angle perspective looking south along North Wabash Avenue near East Wacker Drive. In the foreground, a lone walker in a bright magenta sweater and light trousers crosses a painted pedestrian crosswalk. The framing showcases a rich array of historic and modern Chicago architectural landmarks:

* On the right foreground stands 330 North Wabash (formerly the IBM Building / AMA Plaza), the iconic 52-story International Style dark steel-and-glass skyscraper designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (housing The Langham Hotel in its lower levels).
* Adjacent to it on the right is the historic LondonHouse Chicago building (85 E Wacker Dr) with its classical stone facade.
* Down the avenue background, visible signage marks the historic L7 Chicago by Lotte (formerly Kimpton Hotel Monaco Chicago at 225 N Wabash Ave).
* In the distant skyline background to the left, the blue reflective glass of the St. Regis Chicago tower rises into a deep, clear sky.

Optimized for Chicago street photography, North Wabash Avenue, IBM Building Mies van der Rohe, LondonHouse Chicago, Hotel Monaco L7 Chicago, St Regis Chicago skyline, architectural scale, color pop street portrait, and Chicago Loop cityscape indexing.

I hope Canadians understand that there are now and will be more foreign-based attempts to virally influence the Alberta separatism vote. Part of this effort will be to sow division within Canada. Non-Albertans attacking "Alberta(ns)" or Albertans attacking "Ottawa/Canada" is exactly what they want.

I don't understand progressives. In any other context they'll analyze and critique the reasoning behind a social construct, but when it comes to #adoption? 🤷 How is it irrelevant that a woman "chooses" adoption because she can't afford to raise her child? 1/3

For those of you confused by the current state of B.C. politics, here is a quick guide of where things stand. #bcpoli
A meme graphic with three columns labelled Left, Centre, and Right on a BC political spectrum. The Left column has only the BC NDP logo. The Centre column is empty. The Right column is crowded with parody party logos, all sharing similar mountain and sunrise branding: The Heritage Party of British Columbia (with 'America' crossed out), Findlay's Follies, Totally Not the NDP, The Freedum Party, Guns and Glory Party, BC First, The Patriot Party for Patriotic Patriots, Centre BC, and FML. The joke is that everything claiming to be centrist or new is actually crammed on the right.
