I want to add that these trans people serve in critical roles in the military, they aren’t expendable. The military has spent time and money training them, and they have served honorably. This makes the military weaker, dishonors the service members themselves, and will be a dark stain.

The underlying problem is that Bluesky doesn't want the responsibility of moderating itself, or is too lazy or cheap to do so - and that leaves the user base vulnerable to abuse from unvetted, untrustworthy, untouchable sources in countries outside the U.S. 2/
