There’s was an illustrated kids book I read when I was about 5 which had a full page, close up illustration of a man’s face shouting. I think he was a policeman or solider or something. I have no idea what the book was, but the image was sinister and scared the crap out of me.

Oh yes. Any creative endeavour comes down to making options and making choices, in roughly equal measure. A surprising amount of problems right now come from people forgetting the choices part, or thinking it can be delegated to statistics.
