You can buy a PS3, hack it to play PS1, PS2, PS3, & even PSP games, & nobody can stop you. You can also use it as a DVD player emulator & load up an entire 1TB of DVD & BD isos on it to turn it into home media server. You can also plug it into a VCR & make bootleg anime tapes that way. Just sayin.

Last week, a gentleman returned this rather dilapidated copy of this famous book to us after 50 years. He had found it in his attic! Presumably this means there is a pristine copy somewhere in our libraries....

A picture of a rather dilapidated copy of "The picture of Dorian Gray" There is visible water damage to the cover and the plastic cover is yellowing. Obviously, not evident from the picture but there is a truly foul musty smell emanating from it!

I ran the numbers. If we sliced just 1/10th off the US Defense Budget, we’d have ~$85 billion a year to play with. Bad news: The math says we still can’t afford UBI or Single Payer (those are Trillion-dollar beasts). Good news: $85B is enough to fully solve one generational crisis per year. 🧵
