but the proper solution is to make sure every neighborhood is walkable, with tree lined streets, protected bike lanes, great public transit options, lots and lots of additional housing and other public amenities that make it so every neighborhood is as goddamn delightful

having lived next to lincoln square almost a dozen years the only solution is: let’s come up with another two or three fall street festivals that close down the same streets. maybe make them, oh I don’t know, german themed? and then go all in and close the streets to car traffic forever
