I saw U2 play for 20 minutes at a Christian music festival before they were really famous. They did have incredible stage presence, so I've a soft spot for them. Probably misguided, but ... #totp

Oh wow, yes, so there is - I must have used the wrong search term. I love the name of this: 'Rek O Cut' - very old skool. It might be slightly cheaper, then, for me to buy one of those rather than hire someone to do it for me, maybe.

I got one to edit my novella - and she ripped it apart, quite rightly, so I'm afraid to go back to it. But that is the point, and one day, suitably mentally fortified, I shall go back to it (she did say nice things about some of it!).

I did try to google vinyl pressing machines and got absolutely nothing, not even expensive ones. There are lots of people who will do it for you professionally, but ideally I want at least 6 hours of my digital tracks on vinyl - that will be thousands and thousands of pounds!

There was something in her autobiography about when she started on TV. It was a children's programme, and she had to do a piece to camera, holding a rabbit. She was so nervous that many parents of young viewers wrote in to complain that she was strangling that rabbit.
