The last 6 years though sucks for wait times and being believed, I started 2020 (and the curse of 6 years of issues) with my 5th allergic reaction to a nut (cross contamination) and I went to the infirmary and told a nurse and she said "your neck doesn't look swollen)..

It was definitely better when I was a kid, I remember the 4 instances of nut reactions (1 in PEI) and I remember my mother just saying allergic reaction and poof in we go

Disabled people need more support. Most ableds believe if you get “sick enough” help will magically appear. That if you get worse, more help will arrive. It doesn’t work like that. Unless you have family or deep pockets, you are on your own. Abuse is rampant. Suffering is inevitable.

I had boycotted Amazon long term before I started needing to use it because the cost of getting all my types of medical supplies from multiple sources is unfeasible, and I do not have the freedom to go out to a shop as I please. I'll avoid Amazon on Prime Day, but to boycott fully I NEED support.

I think we missed a huge opportunity to normalize masking as a public health tool. We eradicated an entire strain of the flu with Covid prevention measures. Masking shows respect for those around you. It shows solidarity with the disability community. It shows you value long term health.
