I don’t think I’m ever going to get the appeal of pivoting to video for podcasts. I’ve been listening to podcasts for 20 years, and never once have I thought, my God, I need to SEE these people! I’m on a walk or doing the dishes, I don’t need video.

When people see others getting away with stuff, it’s corrosive. It leads to a sense of lawlessness and ‘why should I comply?’ It starts at the top, with Johnson’s parties, PPE rip off, Grenfell and the Post Office scandal. Runs all the way through.

Cooked this tonight. Yes fiddly but well worth it. Youngest doesn't like spinach so swapped out a third of the ricotta mix before adding it and added some cooked pancetta. Worked VERY well.

Strong piece. The deeper problem isn’t just algorithmic bias. - AI changes the behaviour of both sides: applicants optimise for the screeners, employers automate to handle the volume, and recruitment becomes a conversation between two systems rather than a test of capability.
