A small example of how Labour Conference works- the "Transport Reception " with the Secretary of State isnt held by Transport Unions, its funded by Amey , a privatiser "named and shamed" for breaking minimum wage laws this year. The "shame" doesn't stop Ministers doing their gigs.

Radars across the eastern half of the U.S. States exploded with reflectivity ~22 hrs ago. Most is the result of birds with current estimates now over half a BILLION actively in flight. This is part of the annual fall migration southward and appears to be the busiest night of the season underway.

I bought a 12tb harddrive in 2023 for $196.99 each. They are now $515. I've seen them as high as $650. For the same drives. I need a new computer and every day I boot with a prayer that the old one can make it past the AI bubble burst. The promised "future of abundance" with AI is anything but.
