Someone from the City downplayed the Blazers's concern as an offhanded comment (and not a real threat to sue). This is the wrong messaging. The Blazers need to know that if they relocate they will be held to the bridge lease obligations. If they stay, the renovation plan will resolve those claims.

The City should not give up this bargaining chip and instead should issue a statement that they expect the new lease to resolve the issue (by releasing any claims related to the first class standard requirement). The Blazers should expect that if they walk, the City will enforce that obligation.

By far the biggest problem with delegating judgement to machines is the people who own the machines can tune them towards outcomes they prefer but those who don't own anything can't. It's not the technology. It's a transfer of decision making power from rational accountable systems to capital.

It seats 6 but has a small enough footprint to drive and park comfortably in the city. Plus it drives like a Mazda! It was the best family car and I loved mine so much that I drove it for 15 years and still keep it as a backup. I would buy an electric version in a heartbeat.
