Nobody tried to drown me either. I have different water-based trauma but it wasn't drowning afaik, I was too into swimming for that. If anything, worrying you aren't *really* trans because you didn't do transness exactly right is the most trans thing possible.

i can't let this go: Obama navigating gay marriage wasn't about taking rights away from people. Like, maybe that's a hair not worth splitting, but LGBTQ folks were trying to gain the right to marry. they weren't having the right to health care and the right to use the fucking bathroom taken away.
