I've been made aware of a trend toward luxury in many things that used to be geared at 'the common folk'. E.g. Football games used to be attended by working class folks. Now, not only are ticket prices rising, regular seating is being replaced by luxury boxes. And I'm thinking: how is this […]

We have parent teacher conferences tonight, and I'm strangely excited for it! It's our kids first time back to in person school since 2020, so I'm curious how they're handling it, from the teacher's perspective.

My daughter had her final marching band performance last night, and one of the color guard was spinning this plastic thing (picture attached) and my mind immediately went: Is that supposed to be a bat'leth? That's bad ass! 😅 No, it's meant to represent a […] [Original post on mograph.social]

A long, curved plastic 'Air blade guard prop'. It's wider on one side, and comes to a point on the other. It has 4 large holes to keep the center mostly open.

I'm doing a return to running program again after my latest calf re-injury. I just finished week 3 yesterday, and I'm going from a light jog to what feels more like real running. We'll, I think I may have pushed it a bit too much. My legs were quite unhappy last night, and this morning one of […]

The painters did a great job fixing the apartment walls. There's a few small things I need to take care of, then it's time to look for a new tenant.
