Ugh, our fridge broke. I should be able to fix it, but the part is kind of old, so it's 4 times more expensive than usual, and it won't get here until Saturday. Le sigh...

Well would you look at that, Ashley Sanchez scores for the US. Doing pretty much what she's done all season in the NWSL. #USWNT

Can they y turn it around in the second half? Well the good news is they switched sides, so they're literally turned around. 😛 #USWNT

This post makes me curious: Was there a moment in your life where you discovered a love for reading, or have you always read books? I don't think I've ever 'fallen in love' with reading, I've just always read. The first book I remember finishing is a Disney book of Pinocchio when I was... oh, I […]

I'm reading Iron Widow, and I'm fascinated by the protagonist. I don't remember ever reading an anti-hero quite like her. She doesn't care about protecting her people, or even her own life. She'll choose revenge over love. When I expect her to follow established plot conventions, she goes the […]

Finished Ted Lasso season 4. I think 'meh' is the most complementary thing I can say about it. But really it was pretty disappointing. I get it, the show is not about football, and the last episode makes that abundantly clear, but then at least have a plot, and not just a bunch of random crap […]

I've been looking for my headphones for over 2 weeks. I was finally coming to terms with never seeing them again, when I spotted them in the basement today. I must have put them there when I was dealing with the flooding. Not a spot I'd normally use to store my headphones 😹.
