Vought is breaking the law but he is not “going rogue.” At his confirmation hearings, Vought told Republicans he would do this and they voted for him anyway. If they want to stop him, they still can via impeachment. They won’t.

A decade ago, a “weird” kitten was found on a road near a Bolivian forest. Too small to be a housecat, he had a scrunched-up face, short round ears, long whiskers, & a coat of leopard-like spots. DNA analysis now reveals him as the very first of a newly discovered species & I think I'm in love. 😻🧬🧪👇

1 in 30 NIH grants were terminated — tossing out years of research for a cure and leaving more than 74,000 patients in limbo. But this is apparently all part of "restoring public trust" in science. Enough is enough. We need to take back our science, health, and democracy!
Jay Bhattacharya: I do not believe that patients' care was disrupted because I ordered (...) that the patients would have continuity of care. If there were disruptions, it's the responsibility of the researchers (...), not the NIH.

That is really an unacceptable and outrageous response. You all distributed funding - you can make an edict from Washington DC, 'Don't disrupt care!' but that can be a very complicated thing.
