I still see a lot of confusion about what decompilation, recompilation and ports are and what level of effort is involved in each type of project. It's important that people understand the difference, as recompilation took a drastically different meaning that when it was originally introduced.

OMG. 29 years ago I put an Easter egg in Duke Nukem 3D Mac, that replaced two of the in-game posters with pictures of a couple plush animals I had. I never told anyone other than my wife about the code (DNGLENDA) and completely forgot I did this. 1/2

My hot RPG take is that I like both turn based and action RPGs, but I need a game to pick one and stick with it. My brain likes to be in menu mode OR parkour mode, so if you make me menu while I'm parkouring (Kingdom Hearts), or parkour while I'm menuing (Expedition 33), I'll get frustrated

I sincerely believe this is a hoax where companies with fake, non-functioning "AI" but a lot of market power want to create limits on AI research as a market barrier to entry, so they don't have to deal with competitors
