Reminder☝️: these are unlawful terminations, not layoffs. There is an established, lawful way to conduct a Reduction In Force. Cutting people off at the knees with just a moment’s notice isn’t it. This seems more like retaliation against the most vulnerable employees that did not agree to resign.

Congress was denied entry to both the U.S. Department of Education and the Treasury, where Musk staffers blocked the doors. Along with its appropriations responsibilities, Congress holds oversight authority over federal agencies. Blocking congressional access to these agencies is illegal.
