- remove the translator to pay claude their wage in tokens - "editor" now has to do the job of both a translator and editor - takes them about the same time to correct the translation as if they did it from scratch - saved no time, saved no money, people hate you - shareholders are happy though

"Reviewing an AI made translation" is like repairing a trainwreck VS building a new train from scratch. If you want the end result to be shiny and neat, you're better off just building it new from scratch.

Fun fact: "Reviewing an AI made translation" is more work for translators than just translating it themselves, because AI translations do not pass the sniff test beyond the most superficial. It's a loophole companies use as an excuse to underpay translators, and nothing else.
