There's no excuse for forgetting to use alt text on Bluesky because the app can ensure that you don't. It's a really good habit to get into to keep things accessible. An added bonus is that adding alt text makes any image that you post searchable based on what you plug in.

I have (had) breast cancer that is in complete remission (yay!), a cyst in my brain that will give me Hydrocephalus if it grows and isn't removed and/or I get a drain, and I just I got diagnosed with serious root resorption in one of my molars, which has to be pulled. Welcome to old age I guess?

It's weird that Looking for Alaska is the second-most banned book in the U.S., and mostly challenged by evangelical Christians, because the novel is about Radical Hope and how forgiveness is available to all people at all times, which are Christian concepts I wrote about because I'm a Christian.

I managed to put on the duvet cover inside-out, and I don't have the energy to redo it, so here we are, sleeping in inside-out covers, like a degenerate. On the bright side, I didn't twist the duvet when putting the cover on, so that's a win!

Just my 2 cents. But my goal is to ignore the trolls. Give them zero attention. Block them if they annoy me. I think the worst thing we can do on this site is re-create the ad hominem/ personal attacks that occur across comments on Twitter/insta/tiktok/ etc
