Feels so strange to keep writing about the things that scare me when I’m truly scared about what’s happening here. Writing with horror clip shows in the BG is helping me stay in the catharsis zone and also remind me to keep going back to the basics of what our genre can do for us.

If at all possible, I highly recommend treating an evac warning as an evac order. Got lucky and misunderstood during Woolsey & lots less terrifying to evac before it becomes an emergency. And if you get an order, please go. So pack now. Sending everyone love! (We are okay for now, just no power.)
