What is the internalized misogyny hell is this?! I split my reading time pretty evenly between “literary fiction” and romance, and I gotta tell you—some of the romance is more thought-provoking… and better written! And that’s *before* we get to the shit take on AI!

🚨 The CDC just changed their COVID vaccine guidance for 2026! ALL ADULTS + immunocompromised children should receive the vaccine. Insurance coverage is mandated. Metro Atlanta is currently experiencing a COVID surge. Please consider getting a booster to protect yourself + your community.
A COVID-19 heat map based on CDC wastewater data & standard levels as of September 21, 2026. The map shows all of Metro Atlanta at "very high" prevalence levels with more than 3.5% of the population actively infectious. Most of southeast Georgia has "high" prevalence with around 2.4-3.5% of the population actively infectious.

(Other areas showing "very high" include the Seattle area and most of the states of California, Texas, and Florida.)

I gave up on “y’all” when I fled Georgia the moment I graduated. Then I gleefully re-adopted it in my 30s because it’s such a delightfully inclusive, non-gendered collective pronoun. And it feels subversive to use a Southern pronoun that way to boot. Y’all use “y’all”!
