ICE flights. Wednesday, June 3, 2026. At least 59 flights on 22 aircraft, including at least 11 removals stops.
An ADSBx map of the world showing 22 planes doing dozens of flights branching out from Louisiana and Texas toward northern cities (round-up flights), Central and South America, Africa and Asia (removal flights), and going between ICE detention hubs (shuffle flights).A closer up view of North and Central America showing the way the operation emanates out of Louisiana, like evil tentacles.

1/3 Pollutants don't stay in the water. In San Diego, we showed they become a previously unrecognized source of air pollution. Once inhaled, toxic chemicals and airborne pathogens have been linked to cancer, heart attacks, and dementia. As water pollution rises globally, this is everyone's problem.

Additionally, the side of this building reportedly sustained damage that is not visible in the satellite image. But there is debris visible next to the location of the reported damage as well as what appears to be a hole in the roof. Both are not visible in older imagery.

US funding for global internet freedom ‘effectively gutted’
Programme that funds groups building tech to evade oppressive government controls under serious threat For nearly two decades, the US quietly funded a global effort to keep the internet from splintering into fiefdoms run by authoritarian governments. Now that money is seriously threatened and a large part of it is already gone, putting into jeopardy internet freedoms around the world. Managed by the US state department and the US Agency for Global Media, the programme – broadly called Internet Freedom – funds small groups all over the world, from Iran to China to the Philippines, who built grassroots technologies to evade internet controls imposed by governments. It has dispensed well over $500m (£370m) in the past decade, according to an analysis by the Guardian, including $94m in 2024. Continue reading...

SCOOP: 25 year old shot by ICE doesn't even have a criminal record, despite DHS claims to the contrary
163
Alex Plank @alexplank.bsky.social · 15/01/2026
The official DHS statement says an officer shot someone because they had a snow shovel.
At 6:50 PM CT, federal law enforcement officers were conducting a targeted traffic stop in Minneapolis of an illegal alien from Venezuela who was released into the country by Joe Biden in 2022.
In an attempt to evade arrest, the subject fled the scene in his vehicle and crashed into a parked car. The subject then fled on foot.
The law enforcement officer caught up to the subject on foot and attempted to apprehend him when the subject began to resist and violently assault the officer. While the subject and law enforcement were in a struggle on the ground, two subjects came out of a nearby apartment and also attack d the law
enforcement officer with a snow shovel and broom handle.
As the officer was being ambushed and attacked by the two individuals, the original subiect got loose and began striking the officer

it does seem like there’s a major—though potentially fleeting—opportunity to invest in left-wing media. more than a million people in the most populous city in america just enthusiastically elected a democratic socialist and the world is watching. putting $$ towards left media rn is good business.

Kimmel Live!
SAG-AFTRA condemns suspension of Jimmy Kimmel
Live!
Our society depends on freedom of expression.
Suppression of free speech and retaliation for speaking out on significant issues of public concern run counter to the fundamental rights we all rely on.
Democracy thrives when diverse points of view are expressed.
The decision to suspend airing Jimmy Kimmel Live! is the type of suppression and retaliation that endangers everyone's freedoms.
SAG-AFTRA stands with all media artists and defends their right to express their diverse points of view, and everyone's right to hear them.

While I mention Alan in the headline (because I care about that), most of the piece links his layoff to the long string of job cuts and other moves by PMC, which is apparently bleeding money. That revenue problem is also driving PMC's lawsuit against Google, which specifically mentions Rolling Stone

Legacy media is literally caping for white supremacy now. Quoting the man they’re venerating, whose proud life’s work was disparaging marginalized groups, is officially a firing offense, but calling for the homeless to be euthanized is not. Wild.

First the WSJ incorrectly reporting the bullet casings had "trans ideology" written on them, then The Guardian interviews some jagoff and prints claims that the shooter was "leftist," which the source then retracts. This is journalistic malpractice on a systemic scale.

NEW: Counsel for the migrant children say that, as they understand it, all putative class members have now “been deplaned and returned to ORR custody.” As for the delay, they add that they inadvertently overlooked the part of the court’s order requiring them to file a report.
Since yesterday afternoon's hearing before the Court, Plaintiffs have been in contact with
Texas-based legal service providers to confirm Defendants' representations regarding the deplaning of putative class members and their return to ORR custody. Plaintiffs' counsel
apologize for their delay in providing an update to the Court during this dynamic situation.
Plaintiffs' counsel inadvertently overlooked that the Court's 5:19 pm minute order also requested
a status report from Plaintiffs since all putative class members are in the custody of Defendants.
It is Plaintiffs' understanding that, at this time, all putative class members transported from ORR
facilities have been deplaned and returned to ORR custody.
