I think there just needs to be an 8 month moratorium on international football after every major summer tournament

😂😂 Man City fans "The owners have built this and that and all these jobs will go if we get punished". You have literally just proved what rival fans have been saying about sports-washing. Even drug barons built schools and shit didn't make them any less cunts did it?

Just put the nations league on. This is dreadful a standard of football. What is the point in weeks and weeks of this? Who's paying the kind of money that makes it worthwhile? #eng #cro #yawn

This needs to be lifted immediately by Burnham . He's not a diplomat, it's a corrupt abuse of process by Boris Johnson. Labour was meant to end the grubby cronyism of the Tories. #mcfc #labour #115

People now falling over themselves to talk about how amazing Guardiola is & saying the the industrial scale fraud that he was the face of shouldn’t taint his legacy. Lol. He doesn’t win what he does with them without the insane levels of cheating. There is no separating the two things.

I will say what nobody else will. Manchester City aren't a big club if they were fined out of existence the Premier League would continue on without so much as a blip. They must be punished and their owners MUST be removed. Don't be afraid of them, they have nothing.

Rui Pinto, the man behind the Football Leaks website, has posted a detailed allegation about Gianni Infantino’s role in UEFA’s handling of Manchester City and PSG in 2014, citing material revealed through Football Leaks. These are Pinto’s claims, and they’re worth reading in full below.
Screenshot of a post by verified account Rui Pinto (@RuiPinto_FL), dated 30 September 2026. Pinto alleges that Gianni Infantino, while UEFA General Secretary in 2014, improperly intervened in investigations into Manchester City and PSG, sharing confidential documents and helping both clubs avoid potentially harsher sanctions. He says the details were revealed through Football Leaks and concludes that Infantino has become “a cancer on football” who should have no place in the game’s future. So the #mcfc cheating scandal isn't a criminal case, but tax evasion and perjury is.

The punishment should be expulsion. Losing stolen titles is part of restitution, along with eye watering compensation, for fans as well as clubs. Not sure how expulsion would work though, is our match next week ultimately meaningless? Will all matches against them be voided mid season? #mcfc #115

Manchester City cheated Premier League rules, the Commission found. Did it also cheat HMRC? We've examined the decision and leaked Mancini documents. We think City likely failed to pay £12m in tax. There should be a criminal investigation. Thread:

Burnham being a gobshite on this is not a shock. He has laid his groundwork with Everton. He didn't need to use his groundwork but he can't help himself. The PM should remain neutral at all costs. He is suggesting he may well already have tried to intervene. This and Everton have little in common.

Strip them off their titles. Revoke 'fit and proper' status from their owners. Force a sale or, preferably, revert ownership to the fans.

Anything won by cheating can't be allowed to stand, otherwise what's the point? Can you just imagine if they stood and the Premier League couldn't even be as rigorous as the infamously dodgy Series A? Talk about killing the golden goose. #mcfc #cheat

Stripping the titles isn't the punishment, it's the bare minimum restitution. If you win something by cheating you don't get to keep it, that has to be fundamental to sport. #mcfc #115 #cheats

Just a reminder on how #mcfc got 'acquitted' by CAS. They refused to cooperate with UEFA for years, withheld incriminating evidence and when they finally turned it over, they then claimed it was too old to be considered. CAS agreed and they got away with it. #115

Any player, that played for #manc and was getting paid a huge chunk of their salary for 'consulting' for a UAE company, can give no complaints if their ill gotten gains are taken from them. They should maybe look at why they have used their talents to sportswash an oppressive, bigoted state. #115

Strip them if the titles. Doesn't really matter if they are given to the 2nd place teams or left vacant. But they shouldn't prosper. A pts deduction only ruins 1 season; easily worth all the leagues and cups they won, and a fine is meaningless. Sportwashing doesn't work if the stain remains. #mcfc
