a view of Scott Mountain Creek flowing along Hwy 3 in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. this pristine creek begins off the lower SW slope of Scott Mountain, one of many peaks in the Trinity Mountains, and flows less than 5 miles to the confluence with Tangle Blue Creek which continues a little over 1 mile to the confluence with the Trinity River.
creeks may become an ocean, or lake, another creek, or a river, but I've never heard of a river merging with a creek and continuing as the creek.
and there's a cloudless blue sky.
