Dammon reveals he knew how to play this game. He tells Rolan he learnt when during his time in Avernus, where the participants would lose a limb if they lost. Rolan is shocked he survived due to the extreme conditions of his work, he rises suddenly and so does his shirt. Dammon tells him to be careful or he'll show his crotch, at what Rolan pushes his shirt down revealing his nipples and then up again.

Dammon just says "interesting" at seeing Rolan's body and they keep playing. Rolan ponders how this is the final round and that he needs to win. He gets 19 points which is pretty high. He asks Dammon what he got, the later looks at his cards, sees he's gotten 22 but tells Rolan he has lost this time.

Dammon wins the new round and asks Rolan to take his underwear off. Rolan is in shock, commenting he expected Dammon to ask for his robe instead. Dammon answers Rolan wanted him not to be condescending to him and he's doing that exactly. Rolan reluctantly takes his underwear off, saying he's not a quitter.

Dammon chuckles at Rolan's underwear color (purple). The next rounds are also won by Dammon, so he keeps asking Rolan for articles of clothing until he only has a shirt on. Rolan comments it's weird he got so good at this game in such a such a short period of time and asks him if he has played this game before.

Dammon tells Rolan to take his trousers off. Rolan protests but ends agreeing and takes them off in the end. He's pretty embarrassed of how his bared legs look now.

The next round Rolan wins and asks Dammon to take his trousers off in vengeance. Dammon doesn't seem embarrassed in the least, and the situation is more awkward for Rolan. He averts his gaze from Dammon, flushing.

As the game advances, more participants leave the game: Lakrissa, Cal and Lia. Lia tells Dammon and Rolan to have fun. Rolan is more and more convinced he will win the game, as Dammon has only two articles of clothing left and Rolan still has most of his clothes on.

Rolan is thinking about his next move but he gets distracted by a shirtless Dammon, who wins the next round. Dammon asks Rolan to take either his brazalets or whatever he wants. Rolan calls out Dammon being condescending to him and asks him to treat him like an adult man. Dammon apologizes then.

I've been thinking about exactly when Es decides to take Raphael's offer, because it's a major turning point for her (and becomes a point of contention btwn her and Rolan), but it doesn't really make sense for her to take it right when she gets to the city even though the game sets it up that way.

IHC that Rolan is a swimmer. Recently @blu-raes asked me for my Rolan Swimming HCs. So, I decided to share them here too. You have them to thank for this HC post. Thank you so much for asking me, Rae! Rolan swims in the evening every day. It's usually the only time he gets to himself and no one needs his attention. He swims every day. He makes time for it. He enjoys the time to himself and being alone. The water is relaxing, calming and soothing to him. He can let all his stress go. He has a level in the Tower that mostly consists of a swimming pool.
If he knows he won't be bothered, he will swim naked. He eventually as their relationship progresses will swim naked with He enjoys swimming outside at night too, floating and looking He does swim for exercise too and often will do at least 50 laps around his pool. He enjoys challenging himself and trying to improve.
One time when they were younger, Cal fell into a body of water and didn't know how to swim at the time. Rolan rescued him. swimmer in case anyone he cares about needed his help again. He started out swimming regularly because of this but eventually turned into something he really enjoyed. He taught Cal how to swim. He can swim fast and for longer distances than most now.

Dammon asks Rolan to take off his boots and Rolan mutters it was just luck. Rolan thinks he's starting to understand the rules and that he's going to win the next rounds.

Some rounds later, most of the tieflings are half naked with the exception of Rolan, who has only taken his boots and silver piece. Lia wins and asks Lakrissa to take off her bra. Alfira reminds her she doesn't need to do that, but Lakrissa insist to play by the rules and she's about to unfasten her bra when Alfira yields for her.

First page of my comic featuring the Grove tieflings from Baldur's Gate 3: Rolan, Cal, Lia, Alfira, Lakrissa and Dammon. They're sitting on the ground, asking what Bex, Danis and Zevlor said about gathering today.

Lakrissa proceeds to explain the game. She adds a new rule: the one with the lowest score will take to take a piece of clothing off requested by the one with the highest score.

Alfira requests not to participate as she doesn't feel comfortable undressing in front of others, but she doesn't leave as she wants to see the others having fun. Lia asks Rolan how comes he doesn't leave and Rolan answers he wants to win.

The game starts and the participants are having fun. At some point, Dammon wins and Rolan, the one with the lowest score, seems a bit distressed.
