Gale holds Tom back and gazes up at his lover with ardent adoration.

A BG3 screenshot of Gale Dekarios in his trousers. He wears ornate trousers and shows and we can see the curling, bright, weighty orb of Karsus embedded in his chest, likely newly, as his hair is shorter and his beard not present suggesting this is shortly after the orb found a place within him.

He is kneeling on the floor, in pain, gripping a nearby cabinet.

The whole image is shown only in monochrome with shots of purple.

I am one of those people who feels horribly behind, and often too old to make up ground. Many days it is hard to convince myself otherwise. Some days it's like "you're only 37." Other days, it's "you're already 37." We still have time. 💜

Sending love to everyone who feels... behind. Behind on love, behind on career, behind on healing. You are not late to your own life. There is still so much time for things to change, grow, and make sense.

[ #tavqotd ] Tom's two core traits are 'passionate man' and 'survivor.' He's got survival horror protagonist energy and is going to survive; Final Girl right here. He'd be one of those who is brought right to the cusp, mind you, nearly dies, but stands up and overcomes bloodstained and ROARING.

A BG3 screenshot. On the left is Gale Dekarios in a suit with black shirt and his canon slicked back hairstyle; he is kneeling, hand to his face and in pain.

Before him, lower on the stairs in the foggy environment, is a redheaded male Tav with his hair back in a bun. he wears a torn black top without sleeves and blue trousers, is blood stained and wields a bat. Face full of anger ans readiness to fight, he defends Gale staunchily.

A BG3 screenshot with a vaguely western theme to it. Beside a fire at night, one a dirty floor near a bedroll, a young bearded man with reddish hair tied back sits. His clothing is ragged and dark in colours, and he is staring at the fire with a half pained, half angry expression, clearly struggling internally. Beside him is Gale Dekarios wearing a rather fancier getup, including a brown and gold pinstripe waistcost. He is squatting, watching his companion with concern.

But that was appropriate for a Goddess, was it not? Did She not deserve such fervent adoration, such thick and layered poetry? He'd haughtily kept that knowledge to his chest during the courting (or, at least, what he'd thought was a courting) and conjured ever greater poems in Her name.

Yet now, now... he felt less given to lavish Her with such, but felt more than capable of spinning them for a mortal man.

Sometimes that happens and I'm like "I don't think that's really present in the original text but whatever, go nuts" but in this case it's for sure there in the DNA

A BG3 screenshot set beneath a moonlight night sky, stars scattered over thickly, the sky toned in shades of blue. The background contains a dark forest and purple-washed lit ruins.

We see two men. One is Gale Dekarios, wearing white and black silken clothing spliced with silver elements, a dark blue cloak and a flower crown with pale blue flowers. The other is a human male Tav, Thomas, who has long, thick, wavy red hair, blue eyes and many freckles as well as a scarred cheek. He wears silken clothing in blue and white, with silver elements, and a crown to match Gale but with darker blue flowers, as well as feathered pauldrons with silken delicate cloak lengths attached.

Gale kneels before Thomas and takes his hand, kissing Tom's hand, while Thomas looks down with a loving smile. The moon is especially bright above them.

On the left and slightly behind is a tall tiefling Durge, Nemo. He has short pale brown hair and a scant goatee beard, with pointed ears and curling ashen horns surrounded by silvery chains.

On the right and slightly in front is, a human male Tav, Thomas. He has long, wavy reddish hair, many freckles and a scarred right cheek.

Tom is smiling with a grin, glancing back at Nemo and reaching back to curl fingers in Nemo's hair. Nemo is holding onto Thomas was a blissed out-expression.

As billionaires, the wealthy class and ai tech bros try to privatize knowledge and erase human curiosity, another form of resistance is to stay curious. Do your own research. Do not be spoonfed your ideals or opinions. Use your library. Think for yourself. It's very important that you do.
