Miss Hayley stays ready to keep that Black Folks Love Paramore tag on her at all times 😂

Side effect of being too Downtown in a city that gets attacked a lot I suppose 🤭 basically the library *declined* more than it *burned down* in the way we usually say. Caesar burned SOME of it but it's unclear which of the many later attacks it actually got "destroyed" in 😅

040

To my knowledge the Library of Alexandria was also burned and damaged like several times in multiple ways over the years too. Very iconic of her, if perhaps a little anticlimactic 😂

I'm mad that this made me imagine Lindsey Stirling rockin out while everything goes to hell 😂

050

And yeah maybe there's just bad blood or some heinous nonsense going on, but funding disputes due to crossover would not surprise me

Not sure in USA, but here at least all three 911s may be sent on various calls. "Car accident possible fatality" will have fire, emt & police show up. Given disparities with stuff like OT pay, hours/time off, rep, etc I can imagine that being tangled up in other weird politics behind the scenes

Probably because game studio don't have union protections Also it is slightly harder to get away with being only an Ideas Guy in film/TV cause you gotta like.... show up and stuff 😂

As a UI/UX Designer, Game UI Database is a unique and valuable resource that has helped me and many, many other game devs. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: it's disgusting that all the hard work Edd puts into it is treated as fuel for the garbage machines.

Quote from The Hill article in 2019: "“There is no reason Democrats should be making any deals with Mitch McConnell to make it easier to confirm more radical conservatives to the courts. Especially not after Kavanaugh,” tweeted Leah Ghostberg, the co-executive director of the advocacy group Indivisible.

you will encounter more opportunities in life to change the batteries on a smoke alarm than you will to run into a burning building and no one gives a shit you changed those batteries but it is still very important and why are you waiting on a burning building, know what i’m saying, it’s a metaphor

i worry that men think being A Good Guy is dramatically and heroically intervening on behalf of an endangered woman and then being publicly rewarded on a grand scale when actually being A Good Guy is just usually saying, “hey man that’s not funny” or “wow that’s fucked up” and there is no reward
