Fuuuuck, City Market is the only pharmacy in my area that takes my insurance. There's a pharmacy being built here, but it will be a while. As soon as it is, I'm pulling my prescriptions. That's literally the only time I use any Kroger store. Fuck AI, and fuck Kroger for choosing it over people.

I wish my employer was among them. Most of our leadership (CEO and down) is convinced that AI is the best thing that's happened to our company in years. Today my manager said it should free us up to do other things, so she's clearly never used Claude for software QA. I'm required to use it daily.

This is so relatable. 6 years old for me, and it feels worse every year. All these advancements in technology have only made life softer for a very small percentage of people, most of whom have never actually struggled in their life.

This is so cool! There's so much hope in these recent cancer-fighting developments! Of course it's not likely to be used in the US as long as our healthcare system is for-profit. We will continue to be a very sick nation until we fix that!

Saying "not all men" is like saying "all lives matter" It is true, but that's not the fucking point. This mentality is a problem. It makes it easy for men to say "it's not me, not my problem". ALL MEN have to fix this, not just rapists. Men who can't take ownership of that are part of the problem.

Agreed, that feels like an impossible level of stress to deal with. She's amazing! You hit the nail on the head - way too many men are apathetic and don't feel the need to report when other men are doing this shit. That apathy just enables and expands rape culture! They share the blame!

Oh yeah, that case genuinely turns my stomach. I have so much respect for her for all she went through to make sure those men were brought to justice! Just horrifying! It really makes me wonder about the men in my life who I hope are not capable of something like that. You really never know.
