Midsommar's approach to sex feels way more puritan. The Wicker Man expects the audience to have a different opinion on the rampant public sexuality of Summerisle than Sgt Howie, but the Handmaiden's Tale-style supervised ritual copulation in Midsommar is horrifying in the moment

A nice random side-effect of Sinners' success is that it's now very easy to explain what you mean when you say that The Wicker Man is kind of a horror-musical. Most of the songs in The Wicker Man are used in the same way that Sinners uses Picked Poor Robin Clean or Rocky Road to Dublin

In retrospect it's surprising that in Brutal: Paws of Fury, a 6 button arcade pad is kinda not-optional. The game will start up, but you just can't use like half of the moves at all if you're using a standard SNES or Genesis controller
