character notes -
Iron Prince- any pronouns
A living furnace with a steely disposition and a flair for the dramatic. She was caught by the royal guard and tossed to the Ice Fields over a squabble with a troupe of ventrili bards.

Holly Day - they/them
A wannabe adventurer who works as a scavenger recovering treasures from the Ice Fields. They've got a big heart, a big mouth, and a big snobold family back home.

King Simon Franz von Holzer- he/him After the sudden death of Queen Alvani, her firstborn son quietly took her place on the throne. The new king grows more reclusive by the day.

Sindri- he/him
A slippery thief who commands a small battalion he calls the Mischief. He's quick-witted, short-sighted, and has easily charmed the hearts of the people.

Ventrili-
These nomadic, toy-like beings are said to have fallen from the stars centuries ago.
Rather than a beating heart, a Ventrilis life force is tied to an spectral "thread" dangling from the heavens. This has lead to much heartache and fearmongering over who or what controls these "string bound puppets".

Snowfolk-
Not much is known about this isolated group of winter constructs. They refer to anyone who isn't a snow person as a "no-snow" and have an affinity for fashion. They revere the Snow queen as their grand creator.
Snogres are their more rugged cousins.

Beastri-
A general term for the vast array of critter folk living in Holidahlia.
Wherever you are you will find a Beastri. They are a kindly folk, but often look for things others lack.

An Outsider (iron prince is pictured)-

iron prince meets a snobold comic 1-?

1. Empty black void with a distant voice calling "knock knock! anyone in there" 2. eyes open to reveal a snowman wearing an aviator cap with goggles gazing down at the viewer. 3. vision clears to reveal more of the snowman who smiles and says "you're awake!" 4. the pov groans in pain. 5. the camera reveals the pov is a hulking suit of armor passed out in the snow. the armor groans "go away." the snowman snips back, "I can't let you freeze out here! c'mon, lets get you on your feet."

1. The snowman yanks on the armor's hands squeaking "Get up!" 2. the snowman falls backwards with an "oof!" 3. the armored monster easily sits up and says with tired eyes "who are you?" the snowman sits up from their fall and replies "I'm Holly! From snowvale village!"

1. The armor looks surprised, and says "What are you doing here?" 2. Holly retorts, "I could say the same to you!"
3. Holly continues, with a worried look, "The ice fields are no place for a no-snow!" The armor mutters "No snow?" Holly says "There are Blizzos, and snogres— and the undead frost!" the armor simply "hmph"s.
4. The amor, disinterested replies "I've dealt with FAR worse."
5. Holly folds their arms with a huff "Psh! Ok wise guy."

1. Holly strikes a dazzling pose and declares "Y'know, I'm a seasoned adventurer myself." "Perhaps the best!"
2. The armor quickly turns around and begins to walk off, ignoring the snowman who yelps "H-hey wait! Don't wander off alone!"
