This school year has been so different than last school year. Last year was a mess of big/unsafe behaviors from kids. Running around campus, hitting, biting, throwing items, screaming, destroying classrooms. And I was constantly on my toes because I could be called at any moment.

I’ve been fortunate enough in my life that I’ve never had long stretches of money stress. But I do VERY clearly remember the first paycheck I got that I said. Holy shit. I am going to be COMFORTABLE this month. And have leftovers! And my first thought after that was EVERYONE should feel like this.
