My schedule is filling up quickly in the slot for US and Canadian clients. But I still have daytime spots available in CET timezone for coaching! Any European based ADHD / Audhd peeps interested in some coaching support?

I love this so much. "Play the game exactly how you need to." I have often had to tap out of an action/RPG narrative game and read the rest of the plot online because I couldn't get past some of the encounters. So being able to experience the entire story in-game is always amazing.
From Remedy's page about Accessibility Settings in CONTROL Resonant.

The Intended Experience.

We talk a lot internally about designer intent. We do have a meticulously crafted, intended experience for CONTROL Resonant. It's balanced to be tense, demanding, and rewarding.

However, our philosophy is straightforward: if you run into a wall and the friction becomes too much, we would much rather you tweak the rules to overcome it than put the controller down and stop playing. Your time is valuable, and there’s no single right way to experience the game. Because of that, we absolutely do not gate any trophies or achievements behind these settings. Play the game exactly how you need to.

And the reason I keep grieving that is because this outcome is holding me back to this day. If I had been able to do a double major back then, it would likely have been in cognitive psychology. Which would have made the career pivot I'd currently love to make MUCH more accessible.

I sometimes still grief to loss of capacity and potential here. if i had been diagnosed early and understood all these mechanisms I think I would have been able to finish my Masters MUCH earlier or submit for a double major.

I ended up writing a thesis that incorporated at least 3 high level classes I never finished the endpaper for. And 3 more that happened to have highly engaging and supportive teachers that accomodated my needs enough to reduce the stress and allow me to submit a final paper

During University I learned a TON in a large percentage of classes I NEVER actually oficially finished, because the coping mechanism that emerged for me to avoid these kinds of stressful moments was to just SKIP the final test or assesment.

This thread explains so much of my highschool experience! A strong downward spiral on subjects that either did not align with intrinsic interest AND/OR had especially stressful testing contexts. Frequently blanking out on those tests in ways that seemed impossible to explain. No support from school
