Good morning! Today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is #BokehBirds - any bird captured with a soft, muted or blurry background, like this lovely Long-Tailed Tit. Bonus points for any bokeh balls! ☺️🪶📷️ Alt: #AwkwardAvian - any bird captured in a silly, clumsy or strange position! Happy Monday everyone! 🕊️ 👋

A photograph of a long-tailed tit a small, round bird facing towards the right. The bird has a fluffy white head and chest, accented by a broad, dark black stripe that runs over the top of its head from its bill to its back. A hint of soft pink coloration tints its flanks and shoulders. Its bill is tiny and dark, and its eye is framed by a faint yellowish ring. The bird is nestled among several bare, light grey tree branches that cut diagonally across the scene the one above slightly shadowing its head. Two prominent branches cross behind and below the bird, while a softer, out-of-focus branch arches over the top left corner of the frame. The background is a soft, blurred wash of light blue, lilac and pale buff coloured bokeh, with some bokeh balls from the bright, open sky filtering sunlight through the woodland canopy.
