prosecutors drop charges when there's no reasonable prospect of conviction all the time. if the idea is that it's going to either impair his efforts or rally public opinion i'm all ears but it's a pretty fair objection that the first two times didn't seem to do that

i'm trying not to get negatively polarized here--there remains a lot I hate about AI--but so much of the criticism of it is bizarre fumbling instead of the core issues (plagiarism to create it, potentially massive job loss, concentration of power)

the plan is pretty clearly to send in the military to obstruct the midterms (impair democratic areas from voting enough to swing the outcome, and seize ballot boxes from said areas alleging fraud). feels like this has been coming for two years and everyone's just shrugging and hoping it doesn't work

You can spread the top two but I don't think Matthews can carry two Just A Guys, I don't see McKenna driving a third line at 18, and you're probably wasting someone's offence. Just don't think it works here however desirable it might be with a better lineup

think the "spreading out talent" thing is more effect of a championship roster than a cause. they can spread it out because they have enough great forwards to do so. the Leafs don't. (Colorado can function as basically a two-line team. helps to have the #2 C in the world and the #1 D)
