We’re back in federal appeals court today demanding accountability for over 100 Venezuelan men who were sent away to CECOT in March 2025. A federal judge’s inquiry must continue into Trump administration officials who willfully violated a court order blocking the men’s removal flights.

Fannie Lou Hamer was a Southern civil rights activist and community organizer who was beaten by the police for sitting at a whites-only bus stop after completing a voter registration program. She sustained lifelong injuries to her legs, kidneys, and eyes.

BREAKING: We filed a claim against the federal government on behalf of a family of five asylum seekers and one U.S. Citizen, who were detained for nearly a month under inhumane conditions in Blaine, WA. The family included four children – one as young as 11 months – and a pregnant mother.

Washington, it’s time to vote! Ballots must be returned to an official ballot drop box by 8pm on Primary Election Day, August 4.   If you decide to mail your ballot, be sure to send it at least a week early – by July 28. If you mail it any later than that, your ballot may not be counted.

This month, ICE agents shot and killed two men: Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, a father of three who had lived in Houston for 35 years, and Johan Sebastián Durán Guerrero, who was killed during a traffic stop in Maine.   They should both be alive today.
