Two anti-LGBTQ initiatives are heading to your ballot this fall - ACLU of Washington
Washington voters should reject two harmful initiatives on their ballots this fall and instead seek solutions that help our children succeed in school.

Allowing schools to disclose private health information without student consent would severely impact a student’s stability at home, at a time when they need support. This violation of privacy can undermine the relationships that students may have with counselors and other trusted adults in schools.

We all want what's best for young people, but the sad truth is not all students have a supportive adult they can turn to and talk about their sexuality, gender identity, or mental health without fear.    Vote NO on I-001 when your ballot arrives.

When a health-adjacent company – like a period tracker or fitness app – collects your health data, you have the right to access and delete that information. Here's how to do that ⬇️

Opting out may limit which features you can use in the app. If you hit a dead end, search the company's privacy policy for a section like "your privacy rights" or "data retention."" Adela Vázquez wore many hats. She worked for trans people to receive compassionate HIV/AIDS prevention and care; founded Las AtreDivas (the Daring Divas), a drag group that provided sex education; and took a chosen family under her wing. We applaud Adela's contributions as a queer, Latine advocate.
