At least two dozen NYPD cops were given flock logins, Made 1700 searches, often giving the reason as “sdfsdf” or “234234” Didn’t seek or get approval to use the system or do any search. NYPD - they broke no rules! (Wort asking why you don’t have a rule against this) www.nytimes.com/2026/09/28/n...

Did the NYPD fail to disclose Flock camera database access?
Questions arise about whether the NYPD properly disclosed Flock camera database access to New Yorkers.

Glad to speak with @hellgatenyc.com about Commissioner Tisch continuing the tradition of promoting the most violent and lawless police officers to lead specialized stop-and-frisk teams, with predictable results: "This is a middle finger to everyone who expects the NYPD to be accountable to the law"

Many people say because of unions, laws etc it's impossible to discipline bad cops. But many tools to discipline and punish cops exist, they are just deployed exclusively against whistleblowers and honest cops so corrupt cops can drum them off the force

stop. if you think the existence of a warrant is part of the conversation in any way, you cannot, by definition, argue that it makes any difference whether the guy they killed had a warrant or not. because right guy or wrong guy, an arrest warrant isn't a death sentence.

You do not hate the DOGE people enough. Boys with toys breaking things they were too arrogant and lazy to understand.
Because the inquiry was framed only in terms of whether a project "relate[d] at all to DEI" (whatever that might mean to ChatGPT), projects whose abbreviated descriptions contained general references to "history," "culture," or "identity" were frequently identified by ChatGPT as relating to DEI. For example, a project to recover and analyze ancient writings attributed to Moses but excluded from the canonical Hebrew Bible and preserved in fragmentary form (e.g., the Book of Jubilees and the Testament of Moses) was classified as DEI because it claimed to "provide important insight into Jewish thought from two thousand years ago, complementary to insight from the Dead Sea Scrolls and the New Testament." Dkt. No. 248-11, at 99, C461-1461 (emphasis added). The project description reflects a highly technical effort involving multispectral imaging,
textual reconstruction, and the recovery of deteriorated source materials. Id. Yet, the assigned
rationale consists of a single sentence linking the project to "Jewish thought," which ChatGPT
considered to be aligned with "DEI" goals. Id.

Justice Alito's framing here will be familiar to anyone who has represented plaintiffs or criminal defendants. When the govt targets innocent people for intrusions that don't cause physical harm, the law makes it hard for them to sue. Then they're accused of not complaining.

Every bombed village is my hometown.

And every dead child is my child.

Every grieving mother is my mother.

Every crying father is my father.

Every home turned to rubble

is the home I grew up in.

Every brother carrying the remains

of his brother across borders

is my brother.

Every sister waiting for a sister

who will never come home

is my sister.

Every one of these people are ours,

Just like we are theirs.

We belong to them

and they belong to us.
