As someone who joined a fraternity in college, I can confirm that they are worthless. I talk to nobody from that time. Of the two I talked with after college, one passed away and the other became a massive flake that I lost patience with. Confirmed during Covid that the rest never left that period.

Wife and I literally sat in the car in the driveway listening to the end of the Mets game so we could hear Howie's (possibly) final broadcast and the post-game. She was bawling and I had a few tears. Baseball means something still and Howie meant a lot to us.

RIP Marcy Borders, who was working as a legal assistant in the north WTC tower on 9/11. This photo of her, enshrouded in toxic dust, would become an iconic image of that day. She died of stomach cancer, almost 14 years later, at the age of 42. Survived by a daughter and a son.
