Niice. @aaronsalmon.com is running on my own PDS now. Posts, likes, follows, images, and records from like nine apps I'd forgotten about delightfully came along too! Love all this so much. Time to fold in any and all internet activity I can to my own records.

Rehearsed my PDS migration on a my @aaronsalmon-dev.bsky.social account this morning before touching my this one. Glad I did! The recommended identity update would have quietly dropped the recovery key I'd added earlier... only caught it because I read the JSON before signing. swhoofda.

This looks amazing. And, again, reconfirms the thing I keep telling people: the Atmosphere isn't about rebuilding Twitter. It's about rebuilding a better web overall.

This is all just so awesome. I’ve be been on cloud nine the past few weeks deep diving into the possibilities of the Atmosphere. Feels like how we thought this would go after the boom. So excited! Let’s take it back!

This is great. Now I don't feel guilty about "destroying my body" when I only get the 6.5 hours of sleep I tend to desire out of an evening. Midnight to 6:30 ideally (with 30 mins of ease on either end.)

Let's hear it once again for things that were drawn and written by humans for humans just to make something that educates (and promotes prosocial values) more fun to look at

A drawing of a a chunk of the city and a big red letter C

C—is for CITY,
In which we all dwell,
Where we work, sleep and play
And try to keep well.

A drawing of a big ocean ship docking as an old-timey guy waits on the dock

D—is for DOCKS,
The nation's front door,
What strangers see first
When they land on our shore.

A drawing of a nice living room with a big red letter H

H—is for HOME,
The place we keep neat,
With large sunny windows
Facing the street.

A drawing of people on a picket line protesting for better city planning, and a big red letter U

U—is for UNION,
That makes us all strong,
And helps us to push
City Planning along.

A viral dog rescue from 2016 is now immortalized with a statue in Kazakhstan. When a dog fell into the Sayran reservoir, bystanders formed a human chain to pull him to safety. The statue is a reminder of the value of unity, solidarity and collective action. 14/10 for all
