I don't know the answer for sure. Ancecdotally, my game on Google Play gets around 5k downloads/day, and from what I can tell, there's no human curation driving that. I think a good personalized algorithm can work well for indies.

We were watching the Wolverine Sentinel footage, and... We used to call these "high chair boss battles" because the boss looks like a baby in a high chair and you're on their tray. Now you have to see it, too 😅
