We’re on the picket lines because management continues being unreasonable on several important and surprisingly basic fronts. We, the roughly 30 employees at Nico Wynd Golf, will stay on the picket lines over seniority rights, unpaid wages, and harassment! @bcfed.bsky.social

Today, instead of working to end the strike and get back to negotiations, Nico Wynd management has threatened to cut us off our medical benefits -- something they don't have the power to do because we have union controlled benefits!

The two most senior seasonal employees are back to work at Alberni Golf Club after a settlement was reached at a recent arbitration hearing. The club had terminated last year's seasonal staff in the spring while they were on layoff. But now they're guaranteed at least six weeks of work this season.
