My doggy has diarrhea and there was a party behind our house last night that scared her so bad she was shaking and came into my room to sit with me. She also threw up today. FEEL BAD FOR MY DOGGY! On the bright side she does seem to be getting used to the new house.

#MiscreantsComic

A six-panel comic.
Flo walks down a sidewalk and sees a sign for a garage sale.
At the sale, she rummages through a box.
She excitedly runs home with her new item.
Once there, she shows it to Chloe, her sister. It's a roughed-up video game cartridge. She exclaims, "It's GOTTA be haunted!!!"
Flo plays the game as Chloe watches with apprehension. They sit mere inches away from the screen.
Suddenly, the screen engulfs them in a violent red glow. Chloe is shocked, while Flo celebrates.

A beast that descends from above. Mysterious gate guardians, as long as one has no wicked intentions or an air of thoughtless recklessness, encountering one should not be a worry.

[Top Section] Otoroshi; Alternate Names: Odoro odoro, Keippai; Region: Japan

[Middle Section] The creature leans over, its upper body partially hanging off the top section into the middle section. Its entire dorsal area is covered with thick, long hair, its two-fingered hands and parts of its face are all that is visible underneath. Its skin is blue, and a pair of tusks stick out from its large open mouth. Accompanied by descriptive text.

A hairy, four-legged yokai with long tusks. Typically depicted as blue, it may also be yellow.

Typically spends its time hidden atop roofs or torii gates, unseen.

Known primarily as shrine guardians.

Upon someone wicked or similarly disrespectful attempting to enter shrine grounds where one is present, an otoroshi will quickly descend upon the offender.

[Bottom Section] Some depictions in popular culture: Nioh 3 (2026); Hamayumishi ~ Night Parade of a Hundred Yokai ~ (206); Adventure Quest Worlds [Part of a Update w/ Shinrin Grove] (2018)

Logged into Twitter just to look at the group’s profile (the only info I found on them) The descriptions and tweets are in Japanese so it doesn’t seem they’re trying to appeal to Americans with a niche interest in Japanese history and folklore. More info in alt text

Banner and description for the rap/hip hop group ODD GROOVE TOKYO. The banner is a guy with his face shrouded under a hoodie and smoking a cigarette with the Tokyo skyline behind him on one side and a torii at sunset on the other. It has the kind of lighting that makes it stink of AI.

The description is in Japanese and reads thus: ODD GROOVE TOKYO

Google translates it as thus: Welcome to ODD GROOVE TOKYO.

This music channel features unique characters from Japanese literature, folklore, legends, and classic tales taking to the DJ booth.

Enjoy a slightly unusual yet addictive sound and visuals that fuse a Japanese mood with Hip Hop, Pop Rap, and Jazzy Rap.

Also, there are zero people following the account and the account is following zero people.

A sample of an ODD TOKYO GROOVE tweet featuring a link to a YouTube video of an album’s worth of music titled "[Playlist] Stylish Japanese HipHop Mix ⚔️🏯 | Three Great Unifiers: One Realm, Three Ways | Jazzy Rap” The thumbnail for the video features an AI image of three Japanese historic figures (Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, Ieyasu) smoking cigarettes and playing a DJ’s turntable table.
